Movie summary: -

Tom Cruise has been the classic alpha-male in all of his best work. The 24-year-old Cruise in her adorned jacket and Aviators gave us the show's classic cinema moments in 1986, a blockbuster that earned her a star. It could be a runner competing in fighter jets with his big motorcycle, playing beach volleyball attracting a shirt or making a sharp-headed lady fall for him because of his notorious beauty, arrogance and his reckless (flying) ability. heroism, touching friendships, hot romances and rivalries.
Thirty-five years later, when the heroes' films dominate the big screens, Tom Cruise, 59, dares to bring back the old school heroism in a series of high-profile performances. While keeping the original oomph, the franchise is aging as well as the wisdom and effects of death challenge the youthful indifference of youth.

Although the investigation removes Maverick's responsibility for the death of his friend Goose, the burden of guilt is heavy on him and coaching Rooster gives Maverick a chance to be rescued. Old age deprives a person of the right to make hasty decisions and it is thrilling to see a 60-year-old hero face the ghosts of his past, dealing with professionalism and the reality of choosing to be alone.

Director Joseph Kosinski’s film adheres to the glorious, shameless heroism of the original while evoking emotional outbursts and amazing emotional antics. “I am a fighter pilot. I work on an airplane. This is not what I do. This is what I am. "These lines, although attributed to Maverick, are in line with Tom Cruise and his need for speed. The adrenaline junkie who has lived through his screenplay over the years and Top Gun is his pet project. properly stands out and sound and visuals emphasize that purpose.

Val Kilmer in a special look (like Iceman) to take back in time. Jennifer Connelly as Maverick's romantic interest Penny is fascinating, but Kelly McGillis and her push-pull chemistry with Cruise are sorely missed. Despite the song, Top Gun: Maverick's theme song 'Hold My Hand' (by Lady Gaga) is not in line with the decades-old love song - Take My Breath. A one-man show, Cruise ensures that attention is on him and he is the only one, understandably.

This film is flawless and has some ups and downs but it is all you can expect from the Top Gun series. It has the right amount of nostalgia, drama and the act of biting your nails to make it suitable for a theater view. Do it!

What people are saying about this movie: -

(1)Adrenaline Ride! Amazing sequence (and fit). They poured out their hearts in making this movie and it showed. It had a total amount of nostalgia covered in it, without too much enthusiasm or riding in the original coats. The first episode was very reminiscent (fun) of the Macross Plus series, for those of you who are fans.

(2) Oops. The first Top Gun is old-fashioned, and as we all know, sequencing / repetition is rarely a real defeat, especially 36 years later e.g. Matrix Resurrections. Well, the film just broke that idea.
Aside from the adrenaline pumping edge or your seat action, the story was also heartwarming. It is extremely effective, and surpasses its predecessor in all levels.
The direction of amateur Joseph Kosinski was outstanding, especially considering that this was his fourth full-length film. All the stunts, visuals and V / SFX were amazing, as well as camera performance, which you will feel in the cockpit of an airplane. The song and the results were amazing. The 131 minute operating time flew literally with spot-on pacing. I actually wanted to see more. The acting and acting by everyone was perfect, and Tom Cruise reminds us why he is still one of the leading actors in the industry.
I have nothing to criticize or wish for better, as this treasure was perfect in every way. It is absolutely stunning, full of action with a compelling and touching story, as well as being a visual work of art. And the reality of dog fights was real and not CGI (the players had to train themselves to fly jets), making this film even more beautiful. I will see this again and add a DVD to my collection. It's a rare 10/10 you should see in me.
(3) I did not become a big fan of the first film "Top Gun". I saw it as 5 years ago so for me it was not nostalic or anything. It was just a OK movie and nothing else.
Today I saw "Top Gun: Maverick" (2022) in cinema. And it hit me. This movie was unbelievable. It really made me smile. On-air action scenes are the best I've ever seen of this kind of action. Directing Joseph Kosinski was perfect. Music was there. Cinematography was good. I liked how the movie was calm and how it looked, until it was gone and the transition between scenes, actions, serenity and action was right. Imitation was great. This is a film that performs well as it is available. Was it predictable? Yes. But at the same time I was happy and attached to the screen during the entire 2-hour period.
All in all, "Top Gun: Maverick" is a well-crafted Hollywood blockbuster. Hollywood movie action adventure in every way, but this time it did amazingly well. What a good sequence.
(4) Music and points are excellent, and cinematography is another great one. Some may find the first few actions slow, but the sequence of actions completely steals the show, especially in the last long and spurious action. The editing is high quality, as the film does not sound long or stretched. I was actually amazed at how short it sounded, and in such a beautiful way. Top Gun: Maverick is a very action-packed action film with real action and emotions to bring a lifelong feeling. If you have enjoyed the Top Gun, you are likely to find yourself falling in love with the film, as Cruise has also proven himself to be the man to look out for when viewers aspire to high quality. You have to watch on the big screen.
